Patricia Morris has been painting for over 30 years. She has lived from one coast to the other of Canada, with her ancestral roots in Nova Scotia, her childhood in BC and her adult home in Quebec. Her adventures across Canada are the central inspiration for her recent work entitled “Trans Canada Drive”.The semi-abstract landscapes invoke the experience of motion and offer us glimpses of landscapes passing before our eyes, snapshots to awaken hidden memories of places once seen.

With a BFA from Mount Allison, an MFA from Concordia and a Diploma in Art Education Patricia has taught for  many years of teaching at the undergraduate, secondary and elementary levels.  Patricia is an award winning artist whose works can be found in both public and private collections.
