Susanne Strater

Susan Strater is a Montreal area artist working in oil, acrylic and pastel. Her work playfully examines the place where the natural landscape and the man-made environment meet. I like to look at the patterns that the two environments make, especially in contrast with each other - the rounder and more varied shapes of the natural landscape against the more rigid and regular features of the man-made landscape.
She regularly shows her work in Pointe Claire, Beaconsfield as well as Vermont and Massachusetts.

Deena Dlusy-Apel & Max Beer

Deena Dlusy-Apel is a socially active artist and a retired part-time professor in Art Education at Concordia University. She has shown in many group shows and curated several shows in a group- owned gallery. As an artist she has concentrated on making her work political. Her body of work representing breast cancer and the breast cancer movement led to her work on environmental issues. She enjoys pushing the envelope and trying to make her work as contemporary as possible. She has produced bodies of work, entitled My father’s Wallet, Tango and La la Human Step, I Had 4 Mothers and others works.
