Shari Blaukopf

From the moment that Shari picked up a watercolour brush at age 12, she was hooked for life.  In her desire to develop her technique she studied with the luminaries of the medium, and then painted her way across several countries in Europe as well as in North America.

She is a member of the Lakeshore Association of Artists, a Blog Correspondent and board member on Urban Sketchers International and the co-founder of Urban Sketchers Montreal.

In 2011 Shari's life changed when she launched a daily sketch blog (shariblaukopf.com). It has allowed her to touch and be touched by many people who also want to take part in daily sketching and share their experiences with her.  She gives frequent talks to artists groups about urban sketching. She currently teaches graphic design to college students and teaches watercolour and Urban Sketchers workshops in Montreal, the USA and Europe.
